Hi, today I went Sunmori (Sunday Morning Ride) to PIK 2. It’s a great experience with my new bike. I was able to go 90 km/h today. Which is my personal best record on a motorcycle. I think I won’t be able to touch 120 km/h with this bike, also I’m not very brave to go fast. The wind starting to sway my bike at 80 km/h. I haven’t go full throttle yet, and I achieved my top speed by leaning forward be more aerodynamic.
What is the experience in going to PIK 2? I think it has some good sights on the bridges and some iconic place such as the Dragon mounment. Also, the road in PIK 2 are good since they’re made of asphalt. Other than that, the ride is just so-so. The road leading to PIK 2 is not scenic. I think the best view are only available if we enter Batavia or Lands End.
Interestingly, today I found out that there are another part of Batavia on the other side of the river.
I also found some place to perform motorcycle drill in PIK 2, which are some empty parking lot. The surface in the parking lot is made of bricks though, which is not the best for riding.
I also burned my thigh today because I didn’t use sun screen and I arrived at PIK 2 at 9.30 am, which is a little late for Sunmori. I also thought I want to get some sun on my leg since it rarely get any sun, so I didn’t wear long trousers too. Ouch.. this will take a while to heal.
